Lyapunov exponents of analytic SL(2,C)-cocycles over circle rotations

Abstract:

We will discuss some of the properties of Lyapunov exponents of linear cocycles, that appear in the preprint by Artur Avila, Global theory of one-frequency Schrodinger operators I: stratified analyticity of the Lyapunov exponent and the boundary of nonuniform hyperbolicity.
