On the Geometry of Kähler Submanifolds of Space-forms

Abstract:

In this seminar we introduce a class of Kähler submanifolds which generalize the surfaces with constant mean curvature (cmc surfaces). The role of the mean curvature is played by the (1,1)-part of the second fundamental form and, like cmc surfaces, these submanifolds allow a one-parameter family of isometric deformations, rotating the second fundamental form.
