| Postdoctoral Fellowships The Centro de Matemática e Aplicações Fundamentais at the University of Lisbon, invites applications for Post Doctoral Fellowships for research in the following areas:
The positions are funded by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) by way of the project “POCTI ISFL-1-209” (Portugal-FEDER EU). The selected candidates are expected to stay in the University of Lisbon between October 2004 and August 2005, but there may be adjustments according to the needs in each case. Grant amount The position is for 11 months in Portugal, the amount of the fellowship being 1.495 Euro per month (free of taxes) plus travelling expenses. Eligibility and Deadline Applicants should have a Ph.D. in mathematics obtained after July 1, 2000, and they must show a very strong research promise in one of the areas above. There are no teaching duties associated with this position.
